The physical education program accompanies students from nursery school through the third year of lower secondary school, as an integral part of the school’s educational growth and making a significant contribution to the harmonious development of the individual.
The program is structured according to a progression that is coherent with the different stages of development, respecting each student’s individual pace of growth. In the early years, motor activities focus on developing basic skills through play, fostering body awareness, coordination, balance, and confidence in movement. This phase is essential for building primary motor skills and encouraging a positive approach to physical activity.

As students progress through the school years, the program is enriched with more structured and organized activities, introducing elements of individual and team sports, exercises aimed at improving physical abilities, and initial concepts related to health and well-being. Students gradually develop autonomy, motor control, and the ability to apply shared rules, while also strengthening relational and collaborative skills.

In the final years of the program, physical education nurtures an increasingly conscious and responsible dimension, with more technically complex activities, greater attention to game strategies and teamwork, and a deeper understanding of the value of physical activity as an essential component of a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

At all stages, the program takes place in an inclusive environment that respects individual differences, where active participation, commitment, and personal improvement are considered central elements of the educational process. Through sport, the school promotes fundamental values such as fair play, respect for rules, collaboration, and emotional management.

The goal of the physical education pathway is to develop aware, responsible, and motivated students, capable of recognizing movement and sport as essential educational tools for their well-being and for balanced growth, both in school and in their personal lives.
